Downtown West Bend Farmers’ Market is a one-stop-shop with over 60 vendors featuring Wisconsin grown fresh fruits, vegetables, meats and cheeses. Basse's Taste of Country is a seasonal, family-owned business. We open mid-June and close at Thanksgiving. In mid-June, we offer 20 acres of U-Pick strawberries, peas, wagon rides and homemade goodies. In July and August we grow all our own fresh apples and vegetables. In September and October we have our own fall harvest goods: pumpkins, gourds, our home grown apples and a lot of "Agritainment." Dominion Valley Farm is a small family-run farm. We raise all of our animals on pasture. Our chickens, broad-breasted white and Heritage breed turkeys, Muscovy ducks, hogs, and Galloway beef provide our customers with the freshest, tastiest and healthiest meats. Our beef and roasting chickens are naturally raised (no hormones or antibiotics) and sold at our farm. Please call ahead. Our farm fresh eggs can be purchased anytime (self-serve). Schmidt Century Farm raises Black Angus cattle and Duroc pigs the all-natural way. With over 100 years of farming experience, we take great pride in raising healthy animals. We sell Black Angus by whole, halves and split quarters. Pork can be ordered by half or whole hog. We also sell a beef sampler pack and a pork sampler pack. Wellspring has been a CSA since 1988 and certified organic since 2002. Wellspring trains future farmers through its 8-month intern program. Organic vegetables, herbs and some fruit are grown on 6 acres just north of Newburg.
