Rural Landowners Workshop Saturday October 15, 2011. A first time workshop for rural landowners sponsored by the USDA Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Jefferson County UW-Extension, and Jefferson County Land and Water Conservation Department. Participants can choose from three tracts, each with three breakout sessions. Tracts include: feeding and caring for horses, small scale vegetable and chicken production and managing your land and it’s resources. Stay in one tract or mix and match! Early registration is $20 and includes lunch. After September 15, 2011, cost is $25.
